Archeda Invests in Sustainable Future with Additional Photovoltaic System

In a world increasingly focused on environmental sustainability and energy resources, Archeda is committed to doing its part by investing in green technologies. A tangible example of this commitment is the installation of an additional photovoltaic system with batteries at our production site.

Project Description

The project aims to harness renewable sources, particularly solar energy, for the production of energy intended for self-consumption. This initiative is a direct response to Archeda’s goal of reducing its dependence on traditional energy sources and decreasing the environmental impact of its production activities.

Why a Photovoltaic System?

The decision to install a photovoltaic system was driven by several motivations:

• Reducing Environmental Impact: Solar energy is a renewable and clean source that does not produce harmful emissions. By using solar energy, we help reduce air pollution and combat climate change.
• Energy Autonomy: The photovoltaic system allows us to independently produce the energy needed for our company, reducing our reliance on traditional energy sources.
• Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction: We estimate a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions of 20.81 tons of CO2 equivalent per year. This represents an important step towards our mission of minimizing environmental impact.

System Characteristics

The photovoltaic system installed at our site has a nominal power of 44.69 kW and features a storage battery with a capacity of 11.08 kWh. The system can produce approximately 51,438 kWh of renewable energy per year, allowing us to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by about 20.81 tons of CO2 equivalent.

An Investment for the Future

The installation of the photovoltaic system represents a significant investment for Archeda, but also a crucial step towards a more sustainable future. The total cost of the project amounts to €49,080. Thanks to our commitment to sustainability and the importance of the project, we have received a grant of €24,540, of which €9,816 was funded by the European Union.
